Tampa has the highest rate of homelessness in America at 57 per 10,000 residents. This is unacceptable – and Fifth Third Bank is working to address the effects of homelessness throughout all of Tampa Bay. Frenchy’s Clearwater Beach restaurants have joined the effort and added collection bins to help collect food for families struggling with hunger throughout the Tampa Bay Area.
Together, our goal is to collect enough non-perishable food for 5,300 families.
Now through June 6, we invite you to participate by dropping off any non-perishable food items into the big blue bins at Frenchy’s Saltwater Cafe, Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill or Frenchy’s South Beach Cafe.
All food collected will be distributed by Metropolitan Ministries, a nonprofit organization that provides support to hungry children and families in the four-county Tampa Bay area.
